Challenge using MVHimage Software

Measure the lengths of the pine needles in this photograph. What is the average length of the needles? Bonus Challenge: How much error is introduced by the curvature of the pine needles?

Download the image of the leaves and use in the MVHimage software. See the tutorial on MVHimage for guidance.

To download the image, either right-click or click and hold on the image. A pop-up menu will have the option to 'Save Image As...', which allows you to save the image on your computer.
